Beginner agility classes teach handler and dog teams foundation behaviors as well as teach dogs to barrel through tunnels and tires, conquer jumps and weavepoles, and tackle the a-frame, teeter and dogwalk. Agility builds focus, off-leash control, a wonderful human-animal bond, and is a lot of fun!

Canine good citizen preparation

An AKC Canine Good Citizen award designates a well-behaved dog and a responsible dog owner. It tests 10 aspects of dog manners and training, from stays and recalls to being pet by friendly strangers and reactions to other dogs. A Canine Good Citizen is a dog that knows and responds to basic commands and is well-mannered and adjusted in public.  The CGC test is a great first step for therapy dogs in-training. Information on all test items can be obtained HERE. Prep is priced per lesson or for a 3 package.
